Whatever you become a part of you have to be fully committed to. Whatever you're not committed to you cannot produce maximum results in or succeed in (Revelation 3:15 to 16). When you are lukewarm you are deceptive and undefined.
As long as you continue to seek God, he will prosper you. If you can not promote stuff well in your company, you can't expect life to prosper someone that does not put in 100% effort. Life is governed by laws. It is not lived by emotional sentiment. Laws and principles are universal and have no respect of persons; Christians or not.
Serving the Lord is making sure the purpose of God inside and outside of the church is fulfilled. When your Pastor visits your workplace, your boss should want to thank him for training you.
There is a difference between being involved & being committed. If you come back from work and hear your child is kidnapped, your hunger and tiredness would disappear because you are committed to them.
That's the same kind of commitment required in the workplace.
When you're committed to something there is an ‘if I perish I perish’ Esther attitude you have. You give your all, consequences damned. The reason we don't get results is because we have reservations and hold back.
Elements of total commitment
It is purposeful - know that God is the object of your commitment. It is amazing that your Pastor will tell you what to do and you will obey but your boss that gives you monthly salary will and you will be posing. If you can give your husband or wife just 10% of the respect you give your Pastor, your marriage will be okay.
When you are a member of staff in an organization, yes that man (boss) is paying you but it is really God that employed you through that man so work as if unto the Lord. Find purpose in the work you are doing just like Naman's slave girl, Jacob and Laban, Joseph in the house of Potiphar etc. No matter how bad the job is, ask God, “What is the purpose of you bringing me here?” Shine your light and be an example in the marketplace.

It is deliberate- to be committed is something you consciously decide. Just internally say “I will serve this company well”. Whatever you are doing, give it 5 years - if it does not work you are permitted to go elsewhere. Give it 5 years and see what will happen.
The reason we are not seeing results is because we are not committed. Sayings such as “God is in control” are not entirely complete. God is in control through you. To say God is in control does not mean you should be inactive. How many of you drove to a place with God's power without entering the car and controlling it?

It is sacrificial - it goes the extra mile. You have to bleed for that blessing. Almost everything you do in this world is sacrificial because for you to do something, you had to neglect other things. You reap what you sow so you can't expect others to be there for you sacrificially if you don't sacrifice.
Don't expect a good relationship if you don't make any effort. Don't expect an increased salary if you don't go the extra mile. Live a life of priority by asking; “what are the important things in my life that I should really sacrifice for?” even if you cannot trace God, trust him. He is always working behind the scenes.

Dangerous giving, dangerous holiness, dangerous investment etc. are tools of sacrifice. Some people struggle to give sacrificial offerings but if they are kidnapped, N1million will be raised for their return which means the money went to servicing satan instead.
Some people have not been paid a salary for a whole year but if told to give their whole year salary to God, they will ask “how will I survive?” We say we believe God and there's nothing He cannot do but actually don't show this most times.

Full commitment does not wait to be appreciated - it is self-motivated. No company is looking for ordinary staff now but for entrepreneurial staff. Once you have put in your all, don't wait for someone to tell you well done.

When you do something wrong they see it, when you don't do something right they notice. Because this is the way of the world, you cannot subject yourself to the errors and whims of humanity. This is because two wrongs cannot make a right. Don't ever submit your emotions and destiny to how someone makes you feel.
That's their personal opinion and they can continue to do that. If someone (e.g. a boss) makes you angry what if they continue to do that? Will you allow it to change your destiny?

It offers solutions and does not just discover problems - You join an organization and ask “what is this company/the church etc. doing about abc problem?” Who is the church? - This is the real question. Organizations already have enough problems to deal with, do not compound them. As you are bringing the problem bring possible solutions. Say I'm thinking we have a problem in this area, I think we can do xyz to solve it.
It is innovative and creative it finds ways to do things better and faster - A consultant is someone you pay to solve problems you have that you're not willing to solve. Some people work in places and don't try to fix anything and then consultants are brought in from firms like KPMG for a short time to fix it and paid the annual salary of these employees just for fixing one problem.
If you become an asset you will be able to command such fees in future. Employ yourself as a consultant, document your solution to the problem, and make a presentation whether it is accepted or not.

It pays the price- Every vision God gives, He has prepared people to fulfill. When you are part of something you pay (eg. Tithe & offerings in church). You can't eat in Tantalizers and pay at Sweet Sensation.
It prays the price- whatever you are part of, make it a point of duty to pray for eg. pray for your workplace, colleagues, staff, boss etc. when you make prayer part of your commitment you will be amazed. Be an intercessor.
