1. God fearing (have reverence for & submit to him as the final authority in all matters).
2. The man must submit to an earthly authority for mentorship, building & correction.
3. The man must have passion for the woman he wants to marry not just superficially mentioning love for her.
Any man that does not have passion for his woman will be unfaithful.
Passion is what represents value to you. It could be beauty, intelligence etc.
Don't be so spiritual that you live in self-denial & later regret it.
4. There must be a demonstration of responsibility. To be responsible means to be aware of the cost dimension of life.
Knowing that anything to be done must be done by someone.
Responsibility is the desire to grow, to press, to fulfill the cost dimension of life.
Passion is an adjective that qualifies the extent of love. Passion is more than things such as a man's view of physical stature of the woman. That's why arrange marriage where the two people don't know each other (Bible says there are friends that sick closer than brother) is not good.
A man cannot struggle indefinitely contemplating his love for his wife. There will be unfaithfulness if he does.
Passion is the depth of resolve within you that through that lady you have gotten satisfaction and fulfillment.
Part of loving passionately is the man loving the woman so much he's open with her.
No need for an alternative. When a man is able to say;
There are many daughters of beauty but you excellest them all. You occupy a place only you can stay. There are many beautiful women but you are my wife.
Man need to pray consistently when married, to keep having passion for their wives because gone are the days when single women (daughters of jezebel to be specific) respect a wedding ring on a man & don't try to sleep with him.
