Anchor Scripture: Deuteronomy 28:23-34

Ephesians 6:12 - This verse mentions Spiritual wickedness in high places, spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies Eph 3:10 mentions Principalities and powers in heavenly places. From the 3 passages it shows that beyond personal deliverance, for your life to prosper the heavens must be involved.


 John 3:27 proves that whatever is not given to a man from above will eventually swallow and kill you ( wife, money, position etc.) A destiny remains stagnant until a connection is made between heaven and earth. 

There are 3 heavens;

(1.) The space where airplanes fly is the first heaven

(2.) The second heaven is the headquarters of darkness

(3.) The third heaven is where God took Paul to

The second heaven is the battlefield for spiritual warfare. In many lives dark powers have made the heavens to become brass. The dark powers understand that each person needs to make a connection by themselves with heaven and without this you are not going anywhere so they try to make it brass so it can close.

 Each man has an heaven over his or her head. An airspace allocated to you above. There are personal heavens, family heaven, ministerial, territorial, national heaven - It may be open or closed.

Each man’s heaven over their head contains their rain of blessing only that you need to break the clouds and make it flow over your head. The bible says in Deut 23:28 thy heaven which is over thy head. We all have our personal heaven which covers and controls our lives powers of darkness can decide to operate over it.

Whether you believe it or not or it is scientific enough in your ears or not; there is a highly structured demonic kingdom with various levels of authority with headquarters over our heads containing rebellious and fallen spirits. Sometimes they come down and mix with men. That’s why it’s a tragedy to still attend night parties.

Your prayers can shake the heavens over your head. What God wants is for your heavens to be open.

God localizes His presence over a person, church, business, nation etc when their heaven is open. Two people can have businesses on the same street where the one with open heavens will prosper and the other won’t.

Signs of closed heavens

(1.) Chain problems

(2.) Unexplainable hardship

(3.) Attack on prayer life and attempt to live holy

(4.) Contempt

(5.) War

(6.) No fresh fire on prayers

(7.) Bible reading and quiet time have become routine and religion

(8.) You find it easy to co-exist with darkness

(9.) Slavery and bondage

(10.) Nothing goes smoothly

(11.) The enemy mocks your prayers

(12.) The person will plant much but reap very little

(13.) The whole of life becomes a struggle

(14.) There will be profitless hard work

(15.) There will be scarcity of testimonies and divine visions

(16.) There will be confusion

(17.) Where others get co-operation you will get contention

(18.) Problems remain the same after multiple deliverance

Prayer: Heavens over my life, open by fire in Jesus name.

When your heavens are closed you begin to speak the language of brassy heavens:

(1.) ‘‘I’ve prayed and fasted yet nothing has happened.’’

(2.) ‘‘The best ministers have prayed for me to no avail.’’

(3.) ‘‘I’m frustrated i’ll stop coming to church.’’

(4.) ‘‘Lord what is my sin why are you doing this to me?’’

(5.) ‘‘I don’t think God is listening to me.’’

Ten (10) Causes of Closed Heavens

(1.) Sin

(2.) Prayerlessness

(3.) Pride

(4.) Bloodshed (abortion, murder etc.)

(5.) Falsehood (building your life on a lie)

(6.) Failure in tithes and offerings

(7.) Idolatry

(8.) Territorial spirits (local strongholds)

(9.) Satanic intermediaries (working with you,living close to you or in your environment. It is unwise to make a child of the devil your business partner)

(10.) Satanic altars (defunct or active altars)

What To Do To Open Your Heavens

(1.) Genuine repentance and restitution

(2.) Deliberate and sincere humility

(3.) Break all family altars, ancestral altars (Gideon was not going to get far until he destroyed the altars of his father’s house)

(4.) Get involved in ceaseless fervent and desperate prayers (pray until the rain begins to drop - the church continued to pray until Peter knocked on their door, Hanah continued till she had the promise, daniel prayed till he felt the touch of God on his life, Paul and silas prayed till the prison doors opened. Don’t get up until God answers. Never accept the current negative situation as the final answer).

When your heavens are opened up;

(1.) You are mightily blessed as it will be an entrance into your divine destiny

(2.) Favor begins to descend

(3.) Your wares begin to sell

(4.) Your enemies will begin to bow

(5.) You begin to serve obituaries to your Goliath

(6.) People will bring gifts to you

(7.) You will be promoted

(8.) No one will be able to hurt you

(9.) Rebellious children get born again

(10.) You get storehouses of the Lord

(11.) The person experiences unhindered presence of heaven on earth

(12.) God will pour out blessings from heaven on earth

(13.) There will be unhindered manifestation of the grace, glory and power of God

(14.) There will be suspension of natural laws to enable heaven connect the earth

(15.) There will be occurence of signs, wonders, miracles, healings and testimonies

(16.) There will be unusual manifestations of the power of God- strange miracles that will shock people will begin to take place

(17.) There will be divine visitation

(18.) There will be angelic visitation - powerful dreams, promoting visions, positive prophecies

(19.) There will be occurence of open divine communication

(20.) It will be a divine turning point in the history of your life

(21.) You will have continuous success and favor

(22.) You have liberty and freedom in prayer

Prayer: Oh God tear the heavens open for my sake in the name of Jesus

(1.) Oh heavens over my (career/marriage/children/life/health/business) OPEN! In the name of Jesus.

(2.) Principalities of my father’s house in my heavens, DIE! In the name of Jesus. Thou power of God in the name of Jesus MOVE.

(3.) Every power in the heavenlies attacking my joy die! In the name of Jesus.

(4.) Scorpions in the heavenlies planning my death, your time is up. Die! In the name of Jesus.

(5.) My life.. hear the word of the Lord, arise! Break records in the name of Jesus.

(6.) Where is the Lord God of Elijah? Arise! let my heavens open in the name of Jesus.
