Anointed Opinion: Falling in ❤️ with God's Word

Here are some tips to make you fall in love with studying the Bible
📖The first thing to realize is that.. nobody is putting a gun to your head forcing you to read only the King James version. So the bible doesn't have to be as complicated or difficult to understand as most people complain it is.

📖Be creative and read other versions of the bible and find one (or more) that really speaks to you personally that you can use regularly.

📖Read the book of Proverbs out of which comes wisdom to believe the rest of God's word.
Read a chapter of Proverbs daily that matches the day of the month (e.g. Study Proverbs 15 on the 15th of the month of April).

📖Read and practice 1st Corinthians Chapter 13 daily (very important) as learning how to love is the key reason we were put on earth by God and supersedes every spiritual gift.

📖Read and practice Galatians 5:13-26 daily

📖Read a chapter of the book of Ecclesiastes that matches the first 12 days of each month (Ecclesiastes has 12 chapters so after the 12th day of each month you can be creative by using permutations and combinations e.g. On the 14th read Ecclesiastes Chapters 1 and 4)

📖Do the above for the book of Job and Songs of Solomon (which were both written by King Solomon and can help you get through times of pain and navigate romantic relationships respectively)

📖Read various versions of the same chapter by changing bible versions every month.

📖Personalize your experience by reading a verse and or chapter from every book of the bible that matches your age, birth date, month etc. Be wild and creative!

📖Use a devotional and bible reading plan to get into the habit of consuming large portions of God's word daily (I recommend Kenneth Copeland Ministries devotional
and bible plan which are not too long that your head hurts and not too short that you feel like your thirst for God was not quenched).

📖You need to ensure you have a balanced view of the word and this can only be achieved by reading the whole book. Just as there are promises for prosperity, there are also those that mention the importance of prudence and modesty.

Just as some scriptures mention holiness, there are those that warn believers not to be too good or too wise in order to avoid self-destruction due to self-righteousness.

So in summary..never lean too much to one side of scripture. It is a two-edged sword so handle it with care so it doesn't injure you outside of the surgical incisions it is meant to perform on your spirit to heal you.

📖Use a dictionary for any words you find too difficult to understand at first glance.

📖Use bible commentaries of ancient scholars to get deeper understanding of bible verses and chapters.

📖The book of Psalms can be used for comfort in times of sadness and as a war tool in times of despair.

📖You can also read the new testament books for character transformation purposes.

📖Study the context of events and situations in the relations that occur between characters in the Bible to see if there are any lessons to be learned.

📖Read slowly and deeply and circle back to a portion of text if your mind wanders (yes it happens and yes you are a normal human being)

📖Consider using a Bible version that has reference scriptures included in its chapters (We at anointedlinks recommend NKJV or AMPC). This aids in deep study. You'll literally be swimming in deep waters of fresh insights & revelation when you adopt this practice.

📖The Bible can be very predictive in terms of showing you what to look out for in your day and provides you with wisdom to handle it. It is the surest form of prophecy and is a way God speaks to us.

📖And the most important of all tips; practice what you read/study (James 1:22-27).

Happy reading! 💖💕🙏
